Hi Fellas, Okay, I know I'm picky. Way picky, but bear with me. Tractor has upwards of 4,000 hours on it and judging from the drawbar, it has worked awfully hard in it's life. In addition, before I bought it for salvage, it had set parked in a shed for something like 5 or 6 years because of a blown engine. Never turned a blessed wheel in all that time. Concern is the bulls. It has a darned bull-gear whine to it, which to my mind, is abnormally loud. It sounds just like an old Model A Ford only in a tractor version and I swear at times that I can feel a slight vibration in the platform corresponding to the pinion/bull mesh. Rust build up? :>( I've spent a lot of money on this old tractor to make her new again. Everything works as it should and you really can't tell it from a brand spankin' new tractor except for that annoying whine. I'm getting ready to pull it thru 115 acres of sod and will see how it sounds after that task is done, but was just wondering if anyone out there has ran into this somewhat irritating "bull-type noise" before and what did you do to correct it? Replace all the gears? Wondering if some more hard work just might shut 'er up? Thanks, Allan

Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
