More questions:
Why did the Electrall not succeed?
1) Were farmers scared of electricity and electric cables?
2) Did Farmall or anyone else make electric powered
implements or equipment like hay bailers, harvesters, spraying
equipment, feed grinders, blowers, etc?
3) Was it too expensive?
4) Did the Electrall cause accidental deaths or other safety
issues? One post from about three years ago mentioned a dairy farmer
using his 400 with Electrall as back-up power for his milking
operation. Sounds like a nifty idea for today's tractors!
