mitchp, I don"t think I have ever seen an A, 130, or 140 equipped with a temp gauge except those configured for distillate or kerosene. The reason they were installed on those models was that distillate or kerosene required the operator to adjust the radiator shutters also installed on those tractors to regulate and increase the engine temperature to effectivly burn the low grade fuel. Gasolene models didn"t require that process, so temp gauges werent installed unless the owner decided that for his own edification he would install one. Unless you have a lot of rust built up in your engine block which may inhibit the flow of coolant, you have little to worry about as those tractors tend to run, if anything, on the cool side.
