I have never seen one that short , someone must have cut some off at one time as nothing showes up in my books that short. . Now ya got to repaint i hate that when ya get them all spruced up and have to move something and ya got bare spots. I think i would get a new tie rod and replace that one as you have nothing holding in the tube and it will be to easy to snap it off or bend the tube if ya hit a Chuck hole or DEAD furrow.
