is this resolved yet ?.....with a good battery you should have power @ ign. switch. did someone put a fuse inline somewhere ? with switch on, power also @ distributer post withpoints open. tractor should turn over even with ign. sw. off, just wont start w/o power to dist. if everything is as dead as you say,...it sounds like a dead battery or very bad ground. i would hook up starter pack or jumper cables and see if lights come on if you cant check the battery. if lights come on with that you will have an idea. good luck
