I don't know if the engine serial matches the chassis serial or not. Your tractor should have late S (1949) or early T (1950) casting codes, as the white ones were produced in the 1st quarter of 1950. Some or most castings will have a number on them such as 1*8*T - Jan 8 1950, as the date the part was cast. They sometimes sat around for 2 or 3 months, thus yours could have some as early as Sept or Oct of 1949, none should be later than March 1950, though. The 3*6*7 you list could be 3*6*T, which is a good sign. The L means it was built in Louisville, as were all Cubs.
