We have a 544 with C200 gas engine. POS. Complete junk, when you overhaul you have to bore it out, after a couple of these then it's big time $$ to have it sleeved. It makes a lot of noise for not all that much power. The only good thing I can say about that engine is that it is fuel efficient compared to a 656 or SMTA... I would not buy another 544 gas in my life, except that they are a rare tractor destined to go up in value in the years to come...
