If you had a 430 that you could not get to tie, that is because you could not find someone smart enough to read a book on how to set the knotter. 45's did not have a very reliable knotter. From the 46 on as long as you set them as the book says to, they tied all day long.

I will admit that the new holland has better knotters, but I don't think that they were a better baler.
