Thanks, My governor sure acts like the weights are stuck but they move easily by hand (or gravity for that matter) I have had that damn plate off about five times. I didn't see a "ball" in there, maybe that is the problem. I have a thimball looking thing with a bearing on the front end that the weights move back and forth on the main shaft in front if the weights, the bearing is the part that contacts the rocker shaft lever. Everything seems free and in the correct position.
Could you please describe that "Ball" so I have a better idea of what to look for? Now that it has started to cool off I am going back out to fuss with the governor some more. Wish me luck.
