The Cowman is probably right on those dirty points, after cleaning them, check that point gap. Should be .013" and then remove the coil wire from the cap and hold within 1/4" of good a clean ground. Have someone crank the engine with the starter and you hold the coil wire. You may want to use a pair of insulated pliers, so you don't get bitten. If you have a good spark your engine should start then. Make sure your mag isn't being grounded, not sure how, but it could be a switch. There has to be a way to shutdown the gas engine and the mag is grounded to do this. Hal
