Terry: I wouldn't look at anything over 8 feet or 28 blades. Back when 300s were new I pulled a 28 blade Cockshutt-Oliver disk, and in the right conditions that disk could make a 300 work. Now Cockshutt-Oliver disks had a reputation of pulling harder than most disks, mainly because they cut better than most. I would go with Paul's suggestion and 24 or 28 blade disk.

All kinds of guys will tell you they are pulling 10 foot disks with this size tractor. Not a good cutting disk, not on your life. Most are pulling worn out disks, many of them not much more effective than a land roller.
