Hi Irving, I have I&T shop service manual for 684 which has same transmission as 574. As Tractor Vet says it is a major repair. The range transmission is under the seat and fenders, fuel tank, seat and 3pt lift arms all have to be removed to remove the top cover of range transmission. The top cover includes that big chunk of cast iron from the back of the tractor all the way to where the step thru is. JB2
