Looks like the hole is drilled, bottom left hand corner. Mines a kerosene model,hoping it's supposed to be there.
When I lived in the arctic, we always had snow by the end of August. By November it was 24 hr darkness. Had a great time up there flying around the country, but too cold and snow for me now, rather have the heat.
