If you haven't previously completely drained and refilled the gear oil, you may want to instead of just topping off. Mine was half full of water mixed with the oil when I bought it. The seals were leaking just like yours. When I drained the oil (and water), then refilled to the proper level, the seals quit leaking. But I'm still looking at fixing the oil soaked brake bands as previous posts have mentioned....
