Through a few phone calls I was able to track down a Farmall M that has been sold in a few different auctions. This was my grandpas. This girl (Farmall M) has been sitting along a fence row for many years and parted out. The bulk of the tractor is there but still sad looking. I was able to get it home and unload it successfully- Now What? The tractor will shift into all the gears. The fans stuck. The heads gone but I able to pickup another. Where and How do I start putting it back together? I am not trying to do this overnight, more like over a lifetime. I was thinking about using diesel, Kerosene or used oil to just soak it in for an indefinite amount of time- Thinking that this would loosen some of the nuts and lubricate the metal? Thank you very much for your suggestions- FS
