In addition to what RustyFarmall said, do a search in the 'Parts & Pieces' section of this web site (see link to the left) for "Zenith Carb Float Setting". It depicts how to test your settings with a glass jar. I haven't tried it but it looks like a time-saver being able to verify your float levels before you reassemble.
