First you will have to find out which assy you have there are two types of output shafts one hac a taper with key and the other had a square shaft. The square shaft has a bolt thru the pitman arm and mite be loost there and the tapered shaft has a nut that holds it on. Either case you mite want to remove the axle and rebuild the whole assy. Seal and bushing mite be shot on the output shaft also top bearing on that shaft. I have rebuilt several in last few yrs and end up great shape.
