After going to a car show down the street and having the joy of 30 people stand around watching me crank away ( ended up pushing it ) with no luck. I've found that I have to choke it when the air is humid to get it to fire. I'll get little puffs of smoke but no fire. In cool weather it starts fine. Here's my procedure. Brakes on, out of gear, manifold heat off (gas only machine), throttle all the way off, mag slighty past halfway, no priming cranks. She'll fire around the 2nd or 3rd. On humid days I run half choke for a couple of cranks. good luck
