I’d recommend a new wiring harness, voltage regulator, ammeter and ign switch - also a new light switch if the tractor has lights. In the long run you will be glad you did!! The generator ball bearing is available at any starter/alternator shop - the same ball bearing is used in nearly all Delco generators and alternators built thru the mid-80’s – about $10. Likewise the starter shop can press in a new commutator end bushing for you. Good luck – nothing looks better at a green tractor show than a Farmall!!
