It sounds good in theory but if everybody fills up on August 31 or September 2 then what have you gained. About all that it does is make a statement to the station owners who can't do anything but pass along the price increases. Unfortunately it hurts your local gas station more than it ever will the big oil companies. Just my $0.02 worth on this.
