Nat I don't know where people get the idea a 656 has a M rear end. They might look like it from the out side but nothing like it on the inside. Timken bearings heaver rear end housing bigger bull gears better oiling, better brakes just because shims can be taken out to keep the accuator where it should be a pin so it can't move around. If IH had did all this for the 460 560 they would not had the recall for the 460 560. Take a 656 any day over a 560. We had 656's where I come from with 234 picker's on them no problems.
