Dave: If you really want diesel and an IH diesel you have three choices, forget the exact cu in but from 340 tractor, D-188 from 504 exactly 2/3 of a 282 from 560 or 239 cu in from a 544. All those engines are 4 cylinder and should bolt up. The 239 may be a bit large for space, but the other two should fit in.
