Mornin' Paul, My neighbor just went thru "kinda" the same thing on a 986 and put up with it for a year before he finally bit the bullet and put on a rebuilt injection pump. He said it would run all day long under wide open load, but if he forgot and happened to reach up and slow the throttle a tad at the end of the field, it would die and would not restart unless it set for at least an hour or two. Then, away it would go again. Dunno, sure sounds like 'sort of' the same symptoms. That engine ought to start at the first revolution and are one gutsy outfit. Allan
