444 Hydraulic Outlet Question

My IH 444 gas tractor does not have any hydraulic outlets. Is there a way to plumb one in, shut off the 3pt and use the 3pt control to run a single acting cylinder? Would it be better to get a cross single lever control valve and plumb it in and how would one go about this? I priced an OEM hydraulic outlet and lever from Bates for around $700.00 and dont want to go that expensive! Thanks
