Just turn the batt so the posts are toward the front. The 625 amp batts will fit the box. The next size 6v batt is bigger thus wont fit. The box and batt is not fun installing on a C. I run the pos ground out with the neg and hook it to the rear stud on the gas tank. The original ground to the control housing can sometimes be rusty where it bolts to the frame and therefore not the best ground.
