Farmer Sid is right on. Most times the curved side is mounted into the curve of the wheel and subsequent weights are mounted in the same direction. The flat side generally looks better -has fewer casting errors so looks a little dressier IMHO. Orginal bolts were square headed and locked into the square recesses in the weights - good luck finding those. Not required. Weights can be attached to previous weights by two or four bolts. Install them so that you still have access to hub attachment bolts. My nickel Dick Davis
