Harley--- After you make the cut with the chopsaw grind a deep grove around where you cut it and lay several weld beads around until the grove is full then put in another layer of welds lapping one extra in the width....use the chipping hammer to keep each pass clean.......slowly pour a can of oil over it to cool it....used oil is OK....
