Super W6 high-low?

I have been working on dad's Super W6 trying to get all the kinks out to do some antique pulling. I was talking to him last night about the tractor last night when he mentioned it to have high-low. Now take into consideration that he hasn't touched the tractor for 10 years. If it has a high-low I would think it would have to be the M&W 9 speed kit because I've never known of a IH with factory high low except the TA which the tractor does not have. If it is a nine speed kit where would the shifter be located. There is a lever located in front of the clutch pedal and he says its a hand clutch, maybe M&W for live PTO or just a straight hand clutch. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks JaredM
