I've got this thing all apart, oil pan off, clutch housing plate off and for the life of me I can't see any mark on the flywheel for timing the mag. I've sprayed, cleaned, sanded, staired from all angles. The book says to bring #1 up to TDC, then continue turning until the DC/14 mark is in line with the tab on the housing cover plate. Im not ready to time the mag yet but since I was in there I figured I would aquaint myself and make sure I have the mag pinion in right before I install the govornor housing. Since I cant find the mark can anyone tell me where I should make one on the flywheel? Does this 113 enging fire at TDC, before or after? And by how many degrees? If I get #1 at dead, true TDC, how much more do I need to turn it so the mark I will make will line up with the tab in the cover? Any ideas? Thnank You, scott#2
