Had the exact same problem with my Super A. The mark just was not there. I figure the flywheel must have been replaced by one from a tractor with timing marks on crank pulley. I welded a pointer on the plate that the hand crank goes through and this makes timing the tractor a whole lot easier than looking up at the flywheel.
