Tom,I recently bought a 49' model M and I have been looking it over lot the last couple of days. My brake pedals arc back toward the operators like yours do so I would assume they are interchangable. I do not have a rod that allows you to lock the brakes with your left foot. That is either new for the Super M's or aftermarket. I wish mine did have that though since it can be hard to bend over and flip up the lock while depressing the brakes.
By the way I need help finding my serial #. The research & info section here says it is on the left side of the clutch or transmission housing but I am having a hard time finding it.
