I have never seen a new Farmall H carb and am not sure how things should be so I have 3 questions: I am installing the throttle shaft bushing. I installed it then reamed it to .250" so far ok. My throttle shaft doesn't quite go in enough so I can put the butterfly in, is there a problem with the IH bushings available now (too long?). I got an extra bushing and it is a little longer than the one I removed. When the throttle shaft Butterfly is closed all of the way ( before I took out the bushing), I can still see a little daylight around some of the edges, is my butterfly worn and should it be replaced? My throttle bore has some nicks, groves below the throttle shaft with Butterfly, is that a problem? Thanks!!
