Make sure its fuel and not water, no reason for a fuel pump, clutch is not hyd, can take inspection plate off bottom to make sure release bearing has clearance. Saddle tank is prone to collect sludge at bottom, might have put fuel pump on because lines and tank fittings became clogged, might need to blow out lines and fittings.
