Another 350 water pump...am I up a creek?

I have the same problem as Tim, but my 350 is a diesel. I finally got it running yesterday. I put all new fuel filters on it, cleaned the water seperator, cracked the injector lines till it spit fuel and she fired as I tightened the injuector lines. Now I see the water pump has a lot of play in the shaft and the gasket is leaking a little.
Anyone know where I can find a new or rebuilt one? This was dad's old tractor and I hate to get rid of it.
The engine runs really good...but I am aftaid to run it with a bad water pump.
Think it would help to run a wanted add in the clasified?
