Levi. Some one is going to have to say it so just as well be me. No short cut unless you use a torch. You will have to split the tractor at the back of the TA housing and remove the tranny deck. Now if you replace the sliding part of 5th only that will do it. If you need to replace both parts of the gear then you need to split at the clutch and the back of the TA. If you need to both splits do the clutch first then the back.
