Probably fouled the spark plugs. If the tractor has not been used hard for awhile, but rather just used easily, carbon and soot will build up in the cylinders and when you open it up on the road, eventually the soot will begin to come loose and can foul the plugs. My H loader tractor does it everytime I take it out on the road, but will eventually come out of it. You may need new plugs, or remove and wire brush the plugs you have.
