If it's for what I'm guessing, a common solution to using a thicker lube to reduce or prevent leaking from an older H steering box (like mine) is to use John Deere Corn Head lube. It's got the consistancy of mayonaise and it flows into the gears better than a regular grease. I tried a regular grease and found, unless it's really hot, the gears just dig holes and you don't get a flow of lubricant. If the corn head lube leaks, it means you really need to rebuild the steering box.
