Kind of! I had a 2N Ford and tire chains for it, then I put on new tires with a greater angle on the lugs and the original chains fell between the lugs. So, I welded two chains between two of the cross chains already there. It worked. Then, I sold the 2N, and I have just enlarged these same chains for my 300U. Mine has the long bar/short bar tread and I fear regular tire chains would slip between the lugs on it also. Haven't tried the chains on the 300U yet.,
