I agree with what was said below. I have run both and both are good tractors. One thing that I like to point out to my Dad (an Allis man)is that back in the day, comparing an M to a WD 45 is not a fair comparison. The M was produced at the same time as the WC and WD. The WD 45 was made at the same time as the Super M, 400 and 450. The 45 might compare to an M, but a 400 or 450 will flat stomp it. One thing about a 45 not mentioned is that it will used half the fuel of the M for the same work.
