We haven't had anyone steal gas from us, but we have had people do things to ours. About 6 years ago we were delivering a load of hay to a farm several miles away and on the journey, the truck (a 79 International Loadstar with a 392 4bbl) just started to die out. We opened the hood to see some gritty substance in the fuel filter. Not sure if it was sand or sugar, but we never got it fully out of the fuel system, even after dropping and cleaning out the tank, and the truck never ran the same way again.
