Dear Kelvin, In some climates dry works. I don't know where this tractor is, but in every midwest location I've been the humidity rusted up the balls, ramps, and pivots to the point of non function. Dust and dirt were secondary considerations. If a thin coat is used it won't migrate, and protects from corrosion.
