Farmall B - Whatzit for? (1)

Took a picture of the tractor body to the rear of the gear shift and just left of the seat. These two bolts look like they have been taken out recently and I was wondering what is supposed to be there? Anyone have any idea? Talking about the two large bolts in the flat area, middle of pic. I think the fellas who sold it to me scavenged a few parts for resale or another tractor. Not complainin as I got a nice little tractor in the deal.
