You've got to be able to get to the back of the switch to test for voltage and such. That's pretty tough to do with everything in place. There's one terminal that is input, and the rest are output. Figure out which wire is the "hot" wire coming from the battery. You should be able to measure 6V (or 12V depending on the setup) from one of the wires to the tractor frame with the light switch off. If you can't, you've got a supply wire problem. Time to pull the hood/tank and figure out what's wrong. Once you've established power, you should be able to move the switch to each position and detect voltage on one or more of the other terminals on the back of the switch.
