Alvin, For some reason, I get the feeling you are just setting there with it running waiting for it to warm up? It ain't gonna happen. Two things: First make darned sure you have all the air out of the system 'cause pushin' the coolant up to that heater doesn't work with any air trapped inside. Secondly, diesels don't generate a lot of heat until they are pulling. That 986 has a large engine with a huge cooling capacity. The bypass system alone could probably cool any car on the road. Put a load on that tractor and I'll bet she warms right up. Dunno, but I don't think you did anything wrong; just have to get it purged and working hard. I think the first thing I'd do is run 'er up the road about 3 miles wide open and see how it is at that point. Allan
