Thanks Aces, these back plates for some reason are extrememly tight. I already have the bull grears out as I have done this before (fliping the ring gear). Do I understand correctly that if I can screw something in the treaded hole in the splinded shaft and use something like a slide hammer, the shaft will come out bringing the back plate with it?
