It's probably got a fast hitch, as they almost always came with one or the other. You can "upgrade" to 3pt hitch using stock OEM parts from the local tractor salvage yard. It's a bolt-on. You may even luck out and discover that it used to have 3pt and the 3pt arms were simply removed for some reason. Then it's an easier bolt-on.

A 706 is way more than just an upgraded M. It's an entirely different class of tractor.
