we use that 466 eng in alot of ag like was said of the 66 86 88 series ih you will have to cgange your front timing cover but not likely the plate that saves having to take out the camshaft out and don't worry about the oiling that is the same set up that tractor pullers run up to5000rpm and have no problems the combine does use the ag front timing cover but the rear is defferent that is were they put the starter the pan and pickup is also different and a combine dip stick is in the pan but the block has all that is needed to switch don't worry about the power any one with a dyno can lower the fuel detting and give you great service good luck you have a good motor there find it a good home
