Hey , I live near Waverly in NE Iowa . It's not a bad problem , the icing , I just haven't delt much with updraft carb's ( or any older one barrel carb's for that matter ) in many , many year's so I forgot just how they work . I work with 4-barrel carb's very often but they don't ice up very much given their application . I didn't remember my Air Force training in A/C and ventilation about the expansion of gasses :-| and the effect's of a venturie . Thanks for the reminder ! I won't worry about it then . Besides I've got enough to do on this thing to get it right . If it get's bad enough to stop the engine then I'll go inside and warm up ! Take care ...Randy
