On my regular, there was rust between the clutch linings and the backing disks. This made the clutch too thick overall - and thickness varied from location to location. I carefully drilled out the rivets, removed the linings. Removed all rust from backing disk and linings. After reassembly it worked well. Belt pulley spins from heavy grease - I think there is a throw-out lever behind gear shift (10-20 anyway). But does indicate that the clutch is still driving the transmission. kevin
