I would agree what Randy has suggested. You need to have that battery checked for a weak cell. Install heavy duty battery cables, new points, condenser and plugs. New plug wires too if they haven't been changed lately. Check your charging
system so the battery is being charged when being used. All connections on that battery need to be shiny clean & tight. That includes the ground surface & at the starter. Hal
